šŸ“Ā Goal: Crack a winning repeatable strategy in-house before scaling by understanding the trends in your niche.

After you’ve warmed up your accounts, and have identified what is already working well, you should have some idea of the type of content that your target user usually watches, including what language they use and what sounds and hooks resonate. The best way to understand this is through deep dives of the the for you page, which you just did!

Start by recreating videos that have already gone viral. For example, with that AI note taking app, I recreated a viral video to achieve virality myself:

their original video

their original video

my recreated video

my recreated video

The key here was re-using language that I know resonated with the target audience, like ā€œbruhā€ and the šŸ’€Ā emoji.

Here’s an example of how you can organize and format your research of trending formats and what has gone viral for other accounts in your niche.

You’ll want to try a few different formats to see what sticks. Once it does, you’ll be able to rinse and repeat. Remember that it’s okay to repeat very similar content. Especially if your goal is acquisition, you will want your videos pushed out to new people to download the app.

Here’s how you can get started:

Next, you’ll learn how to how to analyze these videos and how to continue experimenting, analyzing and iteration.
