The “warming up” process should have given you a good idea on the type of content that your target user typically engages with. Reference the table you completed in the previous step when creating different hooks.

Use something like ugctrackr.com to track accounts that make content in your niche to easily find viral videos to recreate. I explain how to do this here.

The best way to begin is by recreating videos that have already gone viral. For example, with that AI note taking app, I recreated a popular video to achieve virality myself:
their original video
my recreated video
The key here was re-using language that I know resonated with the target audience, like “bruh” and the 💀 emoji.
After you’ve warmed up your account, you should have 50+ videos saved that you can use as inspiration to recreate. Here’s an example of how you can organize and format your research of trending formats and what has gone viral for other accounts in your niche.

Tip: We do this for our premium subscribers at playkit.xyz/newsletter. If helpful, we also cover a lot of faceless content there.

You’ll want to try a few different formats to see what sticks. Once it does, you’ll be able to rinse and repeat. Sometimes it may feel unnatural to repeat very similar content but this process is actually good! It helps thoroughly test a format before dismissing it.
Here’s a quick to-do on how to get started:
| | Account Inspo | Format (talking, hook + demo, long text, etc) | Hook | Part of Product Demo Shown | Value Prop of App Highlighted | Hashtags | Caption | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Format #1 | | | | | | | | | Format #2 | | | | | | | | | Format #2 | | | | | | | |
In addition to planning out the format and copy of each post, you’ll also want to track the different value props and UI shown throughout videos. With each post, you’re testing MANY different variables and it’s important to be scientific on what’s working and what’s not.
